My Journey towards Peace of Mind
I decided to write a book about how to achieve peace of mind when I finally found it for myself. It is so amazing to me what this world has become. There are so many people who are miserable and do and say anything that they feel will hurt someone else. When I encounter such people, I immediately realize that they lack peace in their lives. It takes a lot out of someone’s spirit to be nasty and ugly. But, people today seem to wear such attributes with honor. We see this in politics, on television, in articles and especially those who hide behind their computers writing blogs. I had to learn how to tune it all out and live a life that matters. It is important to focus on what you know to be true in your life.
Instead of complaining and casting judgment, I decided to write a guide to help others find peace of mind. It will take a great deal of work, but achieving peace of mind is possible. I am a witness. It occurred to me that there are a lot of broken people in this world. In large part, we are the product of our past and our life experiences. We have to learn to leave the excuses behind. It is important to have a tremendous desire to change. It only takes a serious illness or something traumatic to occur in your life for you to recognize what is indeed important. Some of us decide to be a positive force in the universe, while others decide to bring as much negativity as they possibly can. It all comes down to what kind of man or woman you really want to be.
In order to achieve peace of mind it will be important to be willing to let go of a lot of hurt. You will have to believe and begin to trust in God. It will also be necessary to forgive. When you are able to forgive, you empower your life in ways unimaginable.
7 Steps to Peace of Mind presents my perspective on how to get the peace of mind you really deserve. Peace of mind allows you to finally feel complete and whole. Peace allows you to love yourself and others. You are able to understand what is really important in life. Achieving peace of mind is about being transformed. Transformation begins in your mind and the book provides you with tips on how to change your mentality and way of thinking.
Peace of mind gives security, clarity and allows you to develop a new way of seeing life. You will be able to leave your comfort zone and do the things in life that really matters to you. You will learn how to make yourself a priority and how to stay away from negativity. The most important element of getting peace of mind is breaking the cycle of worry and finally feeling worthy. I dedicate a chapter to dealing with peace snatchers, those outside forces that come into your life to take away your peace. I discuss how to recognize peace snatchers and how to handle them when you are confronted by them. I even show you how to deal with your haters.
The steps include how to learn to relinquish control, decreasing stress in your life, leaving your past in the past, finding peace of mind during life’s difficult circumstances and finding your purpose and your passion.
